Purpose of the study: Simulation-based instructional methodologies are being recommended by current resuscitation
guidelines. Simulation-based training in the actual healthcare environment (in situ
simulation) not only provides effective training, but further offers the benefit of
concurrent workplace assessment. Thus, we have conceptualized and implemented a novel
in situ simulation training format for interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
of obstetric hospitals, aiming at maximizing practical training opportunities.
